Romantic Artsy Evening

Start the evening at Conspire Cafe in downtown Phoenix for a great shot of caffeine and some time to browse their quirky collection of vintage goods. Then head over a couple blocks to the Phoenix Art Museum. If you have hours, wander. If you are pushed for time, pick an exhibit and spend time selecting your favorites and least favorites. I think getting to know the type of art someone loves says a lot about their personality. This is a great chance to get to know your date. (The museum shop is pretty fabulous too.) Finish the evening with a patio table at Tempe's House of Tricks. If you aren't very hungry -- order a bottle of great wine and their stellar cheese and fruit platter to share. Or start with this appetizer and enjoy one of their many delicious entrees. A walk through Tempe Town Lake afterward can finish off a lovely and romantic evening.
