Long Afternoon Lunch Date

Need an excuse to get away from your desk for 2-3 hours? Work downtown? Meet at Houston's for a great lunch (the earlier the better, the place has a roaring lunch crowd). Everything is good, especially the ahi. Then walk across the street (or use the new pedestrian tunnel) and check out Objects at the Biltmore. This artsy store has some of the most interesting home decor stuff (objects?!) and art. Afterward, grab a scoop of ice cream at Haagen Daz and enjoy the never-ending stream of amazing people watching that only the Biltmore could provide.
